IRON MAN 2 AND ONLY IRON MAN 2

Iron Man 2 dropped last wednesday! Pretty stoked! I'm peeping it tomorrow! (technically today)

LABORS DAY? IRON MAN DAY!

maandag 26 april 2010

Dear world,

Since it's been a minute that I did some real writing on here, no pics
just words in this post. Went to see Kick-Ass this weekend (hence the
pic in a previous entry). Kick-Ass is about regular peeps trying to be
super-heroes inspired by comicbooks. I'm not gonna put up a whole
review... If you want to know whats up just see the movie. It's a
blast! Now the concept of Kick-Ass comes from the comicbook that goes
by the same name! It's put out monthly on Marvel Comic's Icons
imprint. Mark Millar (remember him from the superbly written The
Ultimates) and it is pencilled by John Romita Jr. who is also known
for his great art in past issues of Incridible Hulk and Amazing Spider-
man. Soon he'll be drawing the new Avengers title (not the "New
Avengers" but the new "Avengers" title). The writing of this book is
the courtesy of Brian Michael Bendis so you can imagine I'm pretty
thrilled! Next up is Iron Man and clubwise Culture Club's 8 year
anniversary! Oh and since I'm not only a comicbooks connaisseur and my
good taste reaches further then great one-liners, awesome style,
nicely selected music and the most witty jokes, I'll be putting up
some great restaurants and bars I have discovered through time in the
wonderful city of Gent! But you can Thank Me Later for that, world!

Currently bumping a lot records from back in the day:
Foo Fighters - The Colour And The Shape
Cave In - Antenna
Glassjaw - Worship And Tribute
OutKast - ATLiens
Big Tymers - Hood Rich
and a self-compiled mixtape of new bangers by Juelz Santana, Drake,
Big Boi, Diddy and Usher.

Sent from my iPhone.

Team Grandpa

My grandfather hooked it up with this old but never worn Daiwa
snapback. Daiwa is a japanese fishing brand that stands for great
technology and durable equipment. And in the not so distant past Daiwa did a couple of collabs with fellow japanese brand BAPE. I guess I inherited my sense of style and taste for exclusive and great
equipment from my grandfather! Thanks Petro!

Don't step on our Js

Me in some true blue IIIs and Worrie Chase rocking some high top ones
for some late night macking at Culture Club Ghent.

Can't forget that tree nanananana!

Great new Snoop featuring Kid Cudi. Beats by diplo and a real great feelgood video to accompany the single. Check it out.
Next to this I'm also checking out Brand New and the Wu-massacre. Wu-massacre jumps off real strong but gets kinda boring. Brand New is something I've been hearing a lot about through some people with a renown and excelling taste in music. And I must say I really dig "The devil and god are raging inside of me". Yeah yeah I know late pass, blablablabla. I must admit I've been pretty caught up with hiphop last few months (years?) so I do owe Brand New an apology for rather bumping too much Birdman in the car.

Just a little reminder.

Currently catching up on How To Make It In America, great stuff! It was september '09 when I first blogged about it, so if you're also enjoying the show and got siked through this blog you can Thank Me Later like Drizzy would say.

Peace to the world.

PS: shout out to my friends for the best of times last weekend and to crunkswagger for linkin it up with HTMIIA!

I'm really to old to be feeling this young!

Some old action figures I stumbled on today, might aswell share. I
used to have a Gambit and Professor X action figure too. Also lots of Batman figs.
Maybe later! But for now From top to bottom: Spidey (black costume,
Peter Parker, regular spider-man), Spidey villains (Venom, Doc Ock,
Rhino), X-men (Sabretooth, Wolverine as Weapon X, Wolverine). See ya!

SHUTTERBUG

Did I already say i went to method man a while ago? Petrol antwerp was the place where it all went down. Good show maybe because of the good talks with my boys. This Saturday I went to see Life Of Agony at the AB with Mentje Mentje Coussementje. Arriving a bit to late but still LOA preformed River Runs Red as a whole skits included. Next to that we were treated to some bonus tracks: Otherside of the river, Love to let you down, Weeds and Lost at 22. After that I went clubbin with my boys (hence the sneaker pic lower on this page). Monday was all about chillin on the block, sweet weather, working holiday, Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, pizza, more pizza and Bad Lieutenant featuring Nicolas Cage. Great flick. Today was Mos Def don't feel like writing a whole review and shit but it was ok, maybe a bit too long yeah mos(t) def a bit too long, but still!

Another highlight is this song I discovered.
